The Sky's The Limit
September 6 and 7, kids from over 11 Catholic primary schools in the Diocese of Toowoomba will converge on Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport for a Kids Connect Conference. The theme of the conference is “The Sky’s the Limit” and is organised by kids for kids. Through project management and investigations into real world contexts, the conference focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The goal of the event is to highlight pathways for kids to experience technology and become innovative learners.Read More

Holy Name Primary School’s winning regional team will be heading to the state championships for the University of Queensland’s Opti-MINDS Challenge.
Opti-MINDS is an inclusive team challenge that empowers students to be creative and think in a sustainable way and to communicate this. Students have to be flexible, they have to listen to each other, they have to be creative, and they have to develop their thinking and problem-solving abilities.
