National Child Protection Week is held during the first full week in September.  This year, Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office has produced a video, capturing student voice, to further empower all students to both understand the ways in which they can be supported to feel safe, and the options they have in raising concerns within their school.

Dr Pat Coughlan will launch the ‘It’s ok to speak up’ video at this media conference.

The video was funded through a grant from the Queensland Child Protection Week committee.

The video was produced for use in Toowoomba Catholic School’s school communities. It will be used by the Queensland Child Protection Week Committee in their organised activities and accessible to all other members of the community.
