Students extend their care to police colleagues of Brett Forte

Donna Muir (Principal), Sergeant Kirsty Gleeson (Adopt a Cop), Georgia Muir, Christian Peterson (School Captains) and Deputy Commissioner Tony Wright

On Tuesday, 13 June the school captains of St Saviour’s Primary School had the privilege of delivering morning tea to the local police station.  School Principal, Donna Muir and School secretary, Christine Cosgrove also attended.

“Our families baked plates of slices, cakes and cookies for the police officers who worked with Brett Forte. We were so blessed to have the Deputy Commissioner attend and he presented us with remembrance police badges. It was a bit overwhelming actually when we were supposed to be serving them,” said Donna Muir, Principal.

“It was a very moving morning seeing these great people and the hard times they are experiencing at the moment.  Makes us appreciate our own family.”
